How far along? 18 weeks
Updates on baby: Baby is about the size of a bell pepper, about 5.5 inches long!
Symptoms/Body Changes: still the heartburn and morning sickness... but also my appetite has increased like mad. Yesterday I ate an entire bag of spinach before I decided I was finally full. In addition to about 100 other things. So crazy to just eat and eat and eat and not even feel full. Example, for lunch one day Michael and I got Chipotle... I ate my entire burrito, half of C's quesadilla, all of his chips and then when we got home I still needed to eat a granola bar. Just crazy!
Movement: Little bean has been moving a bit more than last week (that I can tell). Daddy even got to feel a tiny flutter once, too!
Cravings/Aversions: meat. We had pot pie, hold the chicken, for dinner one night this week. Luckily Michael wasn't too terribly disappointed. Or maybe he was... but momma has more say in our meals of late. :)
Getting ready for baby: No news here! We've still got oodles and oodles of time!
What I miss: being able to drink a cup of coffee without feeling insanely dizzy. (It's rare for me to drink coffee anyway but now that I haven't had it in a few weeks... I feel so sick after just one cup!)
What I am looking forward to: Well, after toying with the idea of NOT finding out the gender... we're not toying with the idea of finding out. We still don't know. But regardless of our decision.... I'm PUMPED about our ultrasound in just a few weeks. Can't wait to see our little bean and just hopefully get some reassurance things are still going great!
Weekly wisdom: Sometimes the tiniest thing will make you cry and cry... and there's just nothing you can do about it until you get it out of your system. No worries, it happens. :)

Just read about this week on BabyCenter... apparently this week is typically when your appetite increases and also when your blood pressure is lower than normal - hence the dizziness. Isn't that crazy! I thought that was neat.

Love reading your weekly updates! It's been a crazy week, so I'm thankful to be able to catch up on this (somewhat) quiet Friday afternoon. Love the new link to your first pregnancy too!
